I Would Try

This post is dedicated to the undying ‘Spirit of a Warrior’ which does exist in all of us.

Life is about realizing how difficult times could be and how we can still pull ourselves up – only if we dare to be who we really are.

This is where it all ends…

The credibility in being too emotionally guarded

slowly decapitates the heartbeat of its symmetry.

Auspiciously dug graves of unadulterated emotions.

Nakedness in the veins gets blocked with severity.

Trampled confidence of looking at self, dejected

in the dubious form of us being this cognizant.

How long before overwhelm cuddles cozily

and engulfs the last strand of life opulent.

The speck of forgotten faith still hymns of you.

These sprites of fright when faced do faze.

I will fulfill every dream in this incomplete life.

Like a man who stares at the God’s gaze.

I choose to forever remember the moment

when the kiss of hope came floating by.

I would find the serendipitous me at my cost.

Destined to succeed or not – but I would try.

…this is where it all begins.

Faith and conviction for everything that we do lets us travel through time and people in our own special way… We converge at happiness and the world out there seems so wonderful and thriving at its best colors!
    It was a lovely read.. 🙂 🙂 🙂

The warrior within, lives for the moment. Life they know, who suffer and still rise up, leaving all behind. You beautifully captured the essence of life, of hope, of faith.

The fact that you try to make it work, or make it stop: thats what differentiates ‘you’ from all the others.
And you will certainly find ‘you’. In one of us. Someone, perhaps.

I have that photo at the end….( support our troops had it)
I remember what it felt like to be the one receiving the hug
when I got home…(a long time ago)
beautiful words that flows with the energy of hope between each
    line and letter…
    Take Care…

Thank you ma’am…it is an honor to share the same emotion of being on the receiving end of the last pic with you ! Once a warrior, the spirit would always glow with the valor and pride for what we do..

This poem is for you dear Prashant:

    A ray of hope
    resurrects the living dead
    such is its magic

    dear soldier
    it’s your lucky charm
    hold it close

    rise you will
    encounter any peril
    ’cause you hope

    hope’s sweet whispers
    when your heart hears
    vanishes every care

      Thank you so much Aparna…
…your humble words are so full of soul and appreciation for all of us unsung ones here..
..a soldier does, by choice, give the best years of his life in serving the people of the nation – largely unnoticed. Yet he demands just love and respect – nothing more !

  12. July 11, 2012 at 10:54 am

I am and will again…thank you for the warm welcome! I do see the eloquence 😉 and have envy of your unique and thought-provoking crafting of words to evoke feeling in a most indescribable way!

    • July 11, 2012 at 10:57 am

I think the “thinking” while running all the uncounted miles has led to this state of mine !! 🙂

“I will fulfill every dream in this incomplete life.

Like a man who stares at the God’s gaze.” what powerful use of simile…just even imagining the bravery, the audacity of being able to gaze upon God’s gaze makes one’s eyes sting with tears.

the interpretation of yours makes it more powerful….
      …thank you so much !
