Spirit Of Hope – Fighting Cancer

Cancer can affect people of all ages. Few types of cancer are more common in children. In 2007, cancer caused about 13% of all human deaths worldwide (7.9 million). Rates are rising as mass lifestyle changes occur in the developing world.

The people fighting cancer inside themselves or in their loved ones live with the spirit of hope and patience as they embrace every moment with more warmth and more faith.

Cancer gets cured.

They said

I am not going to live for long.

As if I knew what it meant.

Unbounded spirit. Limitless cherishes.

With untangled modesty, I was sent.

They said

I won’t look beautiful after this.

They did not know my thoughts.

Impressive stanzas. Splendid verses.

The beauty within is what I sought.

They said

It’s going to be difficult.

They had no idea about my family.

Devoted lives. Unprecedented sustain.

A beginning everyday lived gladly.

They said

It is something incurable.

Like they have figured it out all.

Negated guilt. Transformed denotations.

Push life a bit more, I must, I shall.

    “….I must, I shall.”

Cancer is curable. Your thoughts breathe their lives. Keep up this spirit, bro. You are directed by your heart. 🙂

Realistically, not all patients have that urge to live. Cancer or otherwise. They lose hope beyond a point.
My own grandmother is like that. She’s been paralysed for for years now. She cant move a limb without support, bed ridden.
All she wants to see is death.

Beyond a point we, as her children, lose hope too. Watching someone you love in so much pain was never this hard perhaps!

Archana, yes sometimes it does not seem worth when you see your loved ones in pain. Must not happen to anyone. The reality of life is that there is no forever. Things would change the form they exist in and be reborn.

But is letting go so easy?

Things would happen when they are meant to. We just need to be each other’s strength.

To press “Like” is the least I could do after reading this. It touched me personally, brought back memories that will need time to settle down again.
