When You Leave My Dreams

So many times

I’ve broken down

and did not let it show.

            You need to be there,

            holding me as one.

            You’re my only glow.

There is a heart inside

which stops to breathe

when you leave my dreams.

            Believe my wish

            and see in my eyes,

            lays a soul that gleams.

If I can’t live just once more,

would you be there when it all seizes.

Or I’ll just be here, waiting for you,

wishing this last breath of mine freezes.

I wish if all the pain in this world could be captured and thrown somewhere to never return.
      Thanks for the support !

oh why! how true, you spoke my mind. How really i wish for a world where there existed no pain at all… be it physical or mental, for humans or for any other living being… if wishes were horses, i guess, i would be riding them! 🙂

    Sorrow, brings depth.
It is joy that is shallow.

Lets face it. None of us would be who we are had it not been for pain, loss and sorrow.
Rejoicing with em, is what makes you who you are, Prashant.
    🙂

God never promised us a rose garden – but when we find ourselves in one, we can be sure the thorns are as prevalent as the beauty and the fragrance. I breath in the beauty of your words, Prashant, feel the love in your pain, and thank God for the thorns. Without them, there would be no roses!

Heartbreak is the worst pain. I’m still waiting to feel normal again. But as time moves on, so must I. This too shall pass.
